LAND TRANSACTIONS REQUIRE SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE

RLI OBJECTIVES

The REALTORS® Land Institute's main objective is to bring together real estate professionals interested in the improvement of their professional competence in activities related to land; including land brokerage, agribusiness, land management, planning and developing, appraising, acquisition, land auctions, and other land specialty areas. 
 
As a leading land education source, the REALTORS® Land Institute offers the only land education programs. RLI also offers the Accredited Land Consultant (ALC designation). This designation is awarded to those who meet strict requirements such as required Land University courses, experience in the field, involvement and service to the Institute. RLI's National Marketing Sessions provide a national forum for members to represent client's interests, whether buying, selling, or exchanging.

 The Institute is serving its members' interests by:
 ·        Identifying its members as land specialists within the real estate profession.

 ·        Developing and maintaining professional standards of practice.

 ·        Fostering professional expertise through educational activities.

 ·         Awarding the professional designation of Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) to those members who  have  met rigid educational and experience requirements.

·         Advocating the wise use of land and the reasonable rights and privileges of private ownership.

·         Promoting members' business activities through marketing programs.

 The REALTORS® Land Institute is open to all REALTORS®, REALTOR®-ASSOCIATES, or National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) affiliate members who are interested in professionalism in land brokerage.

WHAT DOES RLI DO?
 
EDUCATE!
    • An Accredited Land Consultant, or ALC, is a member who has had specialized education in land and qualified by experience.  The ALC is a highly prized designation.  For more information, click here: Accredited Land Consultant (ALC designation)
    • All members attend a variety of educational programs offered by the Colorado Chapter or in conjunction with many other groups with who we co-sponsor events.  The National RLI organization also provides two national meetings a year which provide further educational networking opportunities. 
NETWORK!
     •  Education is most important to our members, but networking is a very close second.  Our members like to get together and share casual hallway talk about updates on markets and the latest trends and values.  Chapter members working together on transactions and referrals provide the platform for long lasting professional relationships and trusted friends.
UPDATE!
     •   Our chapter members are updated through newsletters, business and board meetings, networking and annual chapter events.  As profesisonals, we know how important it is to be informed on a constant basis.
MARKET!
     •   Chapter meetings and educational events provide information on how to best market ourselves as professionals with the latest tools and technology.  
ETHICS!
      •   RLI practices the Code of Ethics provided by the National Association of REALTORS®.
